My next visit on this fine, last Monday in April was at Pedal’rs Inn Bed and Breakfast.  A glorious property on the Glacial Drumlin State bike Trail in Wales, I was greeted by the proprietor, Dee Nierzwicki, who immediately invited me in!  As we sat in the living room discussing Amazing Innkeeper Relief services, I also got the chance to meet their beautiful daughter, Alyse, on her way out the door.  While sharing about other Bed and Breakfasts in the area, she gave me a tour of the rooms and talked about interim innsitting duties.  I look forward to talking with her again and perhaps I’ll have the opportunity to be their innsitter in the near future!

Touring through Southeast Wisconsin today brought me to my next stop at Eagle Centre House in Eagle, WI.  What a stately home set back off the highway and up on a hill! Four American flags were blowing in the wind off the front pillars and made such a welcoming view of the house.  I wanted to drop off my Amazing Innkeeper Relief information for innkeepers Riene and Dean, however, they weren’t home.  Since I came by unannounced, I left my card at the front door.  This is a great location and a beautiful property, so I hope to hear from them soon to schedule an appointment and share my interim innsitter services!

My next stop I planned to visit Kathie Fleming, owner/innkeeper at Hamilton House Bed & Breakfast.  Lucky for me, she pleasantly greeted me at the front door and promptly invited me in for a chat!  What a delightful visit we had discussing interim innsitting!  A gorgeous common area and living room accepted the sunlight through really cool, 150 year old windows.  I got the opportunity to introduce Amazing Innkeeper Relief services and a few stories of people we both have met in our industry.  I would be more than happy to be their interim innsitter and let them take a well-deserved vacation any time!

I decided to get started early last Monday on my visits because the weather was so lovely!  I headed out for Cambridge on my first stop to see if I could meet Jeff and Linda Leoni at Cambridge House Bed & Breakfast.  Their property is very easy to find on Main Street in downtown Cambridge.  I had baked fresh goodies as I do every morning and sure enough, Jeff met me at the door to receive a fresh, welcome package!  I was able to briefly share my innsitting services and Amazing Innkeeper Relief interim innsitter information with Jeff before heading onward to my next stop.  I would love to schedule a time when I can return to meet Linda too!

One year ago this week I left for my first 3 month assignment at Patchwork Inn  in Illinois.  One of my most memorable innsitting assignments as an interim innkeeper to date, I had such a wonderful experience and met so many wonderful people working at this 10-room inn.  Everything from getting it organized to being on the path to many updates and improvements so guests would want to return again and again.  I can only hope I will be invited to return and help out when the Innkeepers take their well-deserved time off!

Today I had the opportunity to stop by Otter Creek Inn while visiting the Eau Claire area.  It was easy to locate, right off hwy. 12, I was greeted at the door by Shelley Hansen, owner and innkeeper.  Being a Saturday and stopping by unannounced, I introduced Amazing Innkeeper Relief services quickly and handed out my brochure with a small bag of my homemade goodies for Shelley to enjoy when she gets a chance to sit down for a moment.  It certainly looks like a cool place to stay and relax!  I would enjoy helping the Hansen’s out if they ever need time for a rest.

My next stop today was on Main Street through downtown Lake Mills to a beautiful, brick home called Sweet Autumn Inn.  I was so lucky to have met innkeeper Teri at the front door!  She had just arrived home and I was able to give her the information on Amazing Innkeeper Relief.  She was very sweet for talking with me on her very busy schedule, so I left her with some of my home-baked treats for her to enjoy.  I would love to return for a tour and a timely chat with Teri at some point in the future.
